Vignette staging is very unique. It is different than regular home staging as it typically does not involve big pieces of furniture.
Rather, vignette staging is composed of a few select pieces of artwork and accessories that are strategically placed in select rooms or areas.
Vignette staging also helps spark the imagination for potential buyers so that they can “see” how an area might be used.
The idea behind vignette staging is to bring warmth and energy to a room by attracting the eye and creating an emotional connection.
In this example of Vignette Staging, the client wanted to create a special setting using one of her most precious possessions—the family heirloom clock.
This hand-carved wooden clock was over 100 years old and had an amazing chime that occurs every hour. It sat on the fireplace mantle. Because of the special meaning and intrinsic value of the clock, the vignette required special colors and treatment.
It was perfect that this assignment came in the Fall, as I used a tapestry with Fall colors that highlighted the clock and blended so well as a background. Coupled with the lovely fabric roses and vase with draped pearls, and a complimentary runner on the mantle, the client was over the top ecstatic.
Clearly, an emotional connection was made that satisfied not only the client but all those who had a chance to experience the WOW that it created.
So, the million-dollar question is how do you get an occupied home staged for the real estate market during a pandemic?
Thanks to COVID-19 there’s a new “kid in town.” This “new kid” is called Remote Staging. Thanks to modern technology, our team of certified home stagers can still work with you to have your home looking like a model home.
It’s going to take some time and elbow grease and the results can be breathtaking! Don’t worry. We will be with you each step of the way.
You will have your own REMOTE STAGING TOOLKIT produced by Amazing-Staging. This TOOLKIT will guide you through the process.
It’s a three-part process:
1. Orientation—We will have a 1:1 conversation via Zoom or Facetime to go over the materials in your REMOTE STAGING TOOLKIT and how to use them.
You will be given instruction on what is needed to complete the process, develop a timeline to determine the day and time to do the remote staging, which technology will be needed, about how long it will take, and what you can expect.
2. The Actual Day—You will be instructed and guided through the staging process starting with the curbside appeal and on into each room/area of the house. You will be using your REMOTE STAGING TOOLKIT to guide you through the process.
We will be happy to answer any questions you might have along the way.
Remember, we will be getting the property ready to appeal to the greatest number of people (ideally getting multiple offers) selling at the highest price possible, and in the quickest amount of time (my record is 8 hours!)
3. Review—This essential part of the process gives us a chance to reflect on the progress and celebrate your accomplishment.
It is also an opportunity to create next steps for your move and build support for a strong beginning in your new home.
