It is so cool to work with sellers who have things “Turnkey Ready.” This house was the epitome of being picture perfect. It had so many beautiful upgrades along with a beautifully custom-designed, low maintenance backyard.
At the same time, this home required a buyer that would fit into a particular niche—someone who wanted to live in a gated community for the 55+ Active Adult Community. The perfect buyers showed up and absolutely loved it. The house sold for over asking price just 24 hours after I had staged it. The new owners wanted us to find another home in the same neighborhood so that their friends could move in, too!

The real estate market here in Sacramento, CA is hot, hot, hot! The housing shortage, along with people relocating to more affordable and desirable areas, has driven the demand up for homes. Sellers are getting over and above asking price and with multiple offers.
Along with the restrictions of the pandemic and people working from home, many home buyers are looking for homes that can also provide office space, an exercise room, space for kids to do distant learning, and outdoor play. This particular place had it all!
My cellphone rang immediately after I listed it in the MLS—before 8:00 am on a Monday morning! This home went under contract in one day! It’s such a great feeling to be part of someone’s dream come true!
